About GS Hall and Company Limited

GS Hall is a 100% New Zealand-owned and operated company established in 1961 by Gerald Hall.

 

We initially specialised in the supply of herbs and spices, over time the company has expanded its product offering to include a variety of other quality food ingredients including dehydrated vegetables, flavour, colours and other specialty ingredients. We supply numerous local and multinational food manufacturers.

 

Our products cover a wide range of market segments, including bakery, beverage, chilled and frozen ready and convenient foods, condiments, confectionary, dairy, fisheries, foodservice, meat and small goods, and seasonings.

 

Regular re-evaluation of our supplier base means we can draw from the sources best placed to meet our needs for quality and price competitiveness. To this end, we carry out ongoing research on crop forecasting, price trends, food sources and regional retail markets.

 

We maintain a fully operational laboratory for the GSH range, as well as a dedicated Givaudan applications laboratory. Our quality assurance and food safety programmes allow GS Hall to remain New Zealand's leading supplier of herbs, spices, dehydrated vegetables, seasoning blends, sweet and savoury flavour ingredients.

 

We also have a dry-blending facility and the ability to batch or unitise pack to meet your requirements.
